1983: With the launch of the first keyboard stands, the QL/606 and QL/642 models, QUIK LOK developed its first lever locking disk mechanism that immediately distinguished itself and established as an industry reference standard worldwide. This mechanism is known for its ease and convenience in opening/closing the stand and its instant height adjustment.

In the second half of the '80s, Quik Lok gained worldwide attention by introducing the DQL/15 microphone stand: a tripod stand with an ergonomic curvature and an appealing profile. A revolutionary product for its time, as it was unique in the musical instrument accessories market.

The pinnacle of success was achieved with the universal WS/550 stand, which, due to its ability to change shape in terms of length, height, and tilt, was soon nicknamed the "chameleon". This stand easily supported rack instruments, keyboards, mixers, DJ consoles, speakers, and monitors. In the early '90s, QUIK LOK was the first brand to create the QL/691 instrument stand capable of supporting all types of electric guitars and basses available in the market. Constructed with arc-welded steel tubes, fully adjustable arms, and neck support, the QL/691 was robust, lightweight, and completely foldable for easy transport.
